At each stage of a child’s early development, ACCCCC is ready to meet his or her needs, with a nurturing, educational and just plain fun environment. We believe in play as a guiding force for learning because basic skills critical for later success come to life for children through day-to-day play activities. Pre-school-aged children are not developmentally capable of learning through traditional academic methods, so play is the natural building-block of learning! ACCCCC’s philosophy is reinforced by Creative Curriculum with its learn-through-play ideals. Through activities such as dress-up, painting and drawing, building with blocks, story-telling and the use of manipulative, children begin to master conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills. The Center has a strong focus on promoting literacy, building basic math skills, providing exposure to science topics and promoting awareness of nutrition and physical health.
